If I’ve learned anything from boingboing, the theme for mothers day is often posting pictures of ones mother with them as a baby, because you’ve come a long way baby, right? Or something like that. Turns out, I don’t have a lot of pictures of me & mom together, and any that are more than 10 years old would be … well, Moms photos. Hmm, that’s something I should probably change.
Second choice seems to be a picture of your mother 30 years ago. Hmm. Couldn’t find those either.
But I do have a nice family photo of the four of us from 2003, when Carol Ann was but a wee tyke (as opposed to a medium-large tyke now), I was in my “dying my hair dark brown” phase, and weddings were popping up everywhere (this was taken at my cousin Jeff’s wedding in Kelowna, if I recall.)
Anyway, regardless of what everyone else is doing: Happy Mothers Day, Mom. I love you!
