I may have missed this from an earlier post, but what book is that?
Also, does it look odd to others, since the glued-together pages won’t flex like in a normal book?

It looks … well, exactly like it looks above. No, it doesn’t quite flex like a normal book, but that’s fine — it just sits differently, and the spine stays vertical.
