So far today, we are indoor-pee free! Aside from a drop or two when opening the crate anyway, and I’ll let that go.
I may have discovered the secret: Carrying him outside for his first walk. It’s bloody tricky getting the collar on him one handed, especially since other hand is full of wriggly excited puppy who would rather chew on the collar than slip it over his head, but it eventually goes and voila! One puppy, ready to pee — outside.
He’s not doing a great job of letting me know when he has to go, so I’ve been severely limiting his (and Justice’s, by extension) water intake so I can control when it goes in, and therefore out. Sorry, Justice, but hey, you have a peeing problem right now, too. This helps everyone.
I only did two loads of laundry today, instead of the eleventyhundred yesterday. hooray!
