I am a lucky, lucky girl.
Wanna know why?
So Nick wasn’t able to save my birthday present for my actual birthday. I have no problem with this, I like surprises no matter when they occur. Yesterday, he told me he was getting me a rocket car. “Paint it red!” I said. Can’t have a rocket car if it isn’t red. Red makes it go faster.
So, I was pleased when he got home from work today and told me to close my eyes and put my hands out. I did so, and soon found a small but heavy box in my hands. Ooh. I opened it up, and …
For those who didn’t click the link, let’s just say that I am currently writing this from my new absolutely adorable Acer Aspire One netbook.
“Just 1″ thin and under 3 lb., the 10.1″ AspireĀ® One D250 is sleek, slim and attractive. Robust features combined with its compact size make this netbook the ultimate take-me-with-you partner.”
I’m naming it Rocket Car. For the first time in 15 years, I have a computer that doesn’t have a human name. (My computer, William, will be so disappointed.)
I am a happy, happy girl.
Even better: When I turned it on, I found that Nick had pre-set it up with a custom desktop wallpaper… a collage of pictures of the two of us. Oh my god, I think I’m going to cry. Have I mentioned how much I love that man? There are still 20 days (and a handful of hours) until my 30th birthday, but it’s already Freaking Awesome.
Now to remember how to type on a Tiny Keyboard again, and more importantly… I get to watch porn in bed! woohoo!
Oh you lucky girl! *jealous*
Congrats. I just bought the lady in my life the HP Mini 10V laptop. And, now she has discovered Bit Torrent.
I’ve got the same tiny computer! My 3 year old (and husband) gave it to me for mother’s day. My son named it Angus. Mostly because he wants to name the one of the babies in my belly Angus and his father has vetoed the name, as it apparently sounds too much like steak. Although, now we know the babies are girls..Angus might be a little odd..
Anyhow, I love the computer! Enjoy!
