Measureables, part 2

So as mentioned previously (and I’ll post a new update with numbers soon, although I’ve been slacking this week so it’ll suck), I like measureables. It’s just nice to look at something tangible and say “Awesome. This hard work isn’t for naught.” Like, the fact that I can do 60 crunches without any trouble now, and have moved on to the “harder” crunches. Or that I can easily do 20 modified pushups in a row, and not-so-easily do ten real pushups in a row, and after both being able to do more sets later. Or that I can do squats without spending the next two days trying not to fall down stairs.

That’s progress.

The pounds coming off are progress, too. I’m consistently under 135 now, which is pretty awesome. And the best measureable of all?

I fit into my purple dress again.

(I really need a new picture of the purple dress….)

Awesome. That dress was far too expensive and is far too cute to hang in a closet unused for months because it doesn’t fit.
