Evidently Thom Yorke is aware that he’s not one of the pretty people.
Although I’m not sure where he gets off on saying that they’re “not so popular”. What the heck? Radiohead isn’t popular? Maybe I’m biased because they make me feel jibbly in my underbits, but huh. I was under the impression they were pretty famous…
But you know, it’s true: Thom Yorke is not one of the pretty people. And it SO doesn’t matter. I would hump his leg like an unneutered chihuahua given the chance. And, of course, because I’m willing to say such things is probably why this will never, ever happen. Also, because he’s a big rockstar, and I’m a nerdy fangirl.
I leave for the concert in 20 minutes. Reviews from Toronto sound pretty good. I am so, so looking forward to tonight.
Not that this is relevant to the posting above, but since you haven’t recently posted anything from the Game Nerd category, I felt you might appreciate the following:

Hee.
Sadly, I can’t think of anyone I would willingly infect with the
wonderstimesucking demon of Warcraft.Unless… hey Ivan, wanna play Warcraft? For a month? :D
I call bullocks. He has it better than a typical good-looking rock star: he’s got a signature look *and* an interesting look. He rocks that lazy eyelid in a way that Paris Hilton never will.
Pretty men are a dime a dozen, but if you see a picture of Thom Yorke you’re going to know who it is instantly, right?
God, are you sure this quote of his isn’t from 1993 or something?
Bizarrely, nope. It’s recent. The “Radiohead fans are boring & ugly” quote from Liam Gallagher came from this month. Right, like anyone still listens to Oasis. Hello, pot? This is kettle. You’re black.
And you’re right: I think his unsual looks (and even moreso, his unusual voice) is why I’d throw him to the ground and blow raspberries between his buttocks.
Um. Not that I think about these sorts of things all that much…
OOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGgg it was so good! Seriously, that was the concert I would have died to be at in 1998, when I first started listening to them. It was amazing to hear them play Paranoid Android, and Just, and Karma Police, and Planet Telex all in between their newer stuff. I was completely soaked down to my bra and panties, but I would do it again in a heartbeat to be 50 feet away again.
Also, Thom is as hot as fuck and that’s that.
