Well, I’ve been keeping up with it reasonably well, only skipping a chapter here and there due to illness, and catching up again later…
Then, last night I got my supplemental reading materials from the JIBC. Oh crap. Said supplemental readings appear to be roughly the same size as my textbook.

Most amusing thing I’ve learned so far: “drooling” is a symptom of a foreign body airway obstruction (aka, choking) in an infant. My automatic reaction? ALL BABIES ARE CHOKING ALL THE TIME!
