Update – the injury list:
- Two skinned knuckles
- Extremely stiff knee causing me to limp badly (there goes my plans for yoga tomorrow, fuck)
- Golfball sized skinned knee that is STILL seeping. How’s that for sexy? I gave up on the bandaids after I soaked through the second set, and now I’ve just got a big gauze pad taped to it. I had to wear a skirt to work today because pants hurt. Also, after I woke up this morning with bits of fuzzy lint from my sheets attached to it, and I didn’t like cleaning that out.
Don’t you love it when I share?

The good news is, I have a Disney Princess bandaid on one of my skinned knuckles, and while I’m not nearly into Disney Princesses as my sister is, there’s something about cartoon character bandaids that make things hurt less.
Further Update: I just spent $30 at Shoppers on a variety of bandagey type products. I now have a big knee-sized bandaid on my knee, which is much, much more wound-friendly than gauze & first aid tape, which sticks to seeping wounds like nothing else. Ow, fucking ow.
Also, nice beige bandaids blend much nicer with my skin than a big white gauze pad, and since as we’ve already established, I’m wearing a skirt today due to the ow factor, and therefore my knees are visible. (The shame! I’m such a brazen hussy. Next thing you know, I’ll be letting the menfolk see my shoulders. Oh wait! I’m wearing a sleeveless shirt. GET ME TO A NUNNERY!) Anyway, I don’t really need to advertise the fact that I’m the clumsiest clumsy since clumsyville to the ENTIRE world.
